We believe food and drink are a biological and cultural right. Explore our website to read, watch and listen to our research, articles and interviews.

Sourced is a reader-funded publication, subscriptions pay our contributors and the research they do. Chloe and Anna work on Sourced in a voluntary basis.

Our newsletters

Once a month we send a free newsletter. This features a range of things - it keeps you updated on new articles on the website, hosts guest writers publishing extracts from their books, sharing recommendations of places or things to eat and drinks around the world, and other interesting things. This is also where you will find tips from Anna and Chloe about places and things they like eat and drink (often a very international outlook!)

Once a month we send out our subscriber newsletter. This is where we ‘show our working’, or a behind the scene look at Sourced, where we write essays based on our research, and share recipes. As a thank you for supporting the work of Sourced we want to invite you into our world which stretches from the kitchen to the academic research we do. Often this features the beginnings of thinking, or first (extended!) drafts of articles and books, and we hope you will see it as a conversation.
